I need someone with intelligence.
Do you know anybody?
I have a 2008 KLR650 which has lacked power since I bought it.
After refitting the original exhaust and closing up some of the pooratech holes drilled into the air filter housing, I took it to automotocycles to be checked on their dyno.
They tested, rejetted it and said it is now great.
unfortunately the printer was not working but promised to send the info later in the week when the printer was fixed.
didn't happen
Bike still feels week to me. my old 2005 KLR is far superior.
even Cappie and Snakey dude ride away from me eepwall: ot:
I have a flue gas analyser I use in factories to determine burner and boiler efficiencies, so I decided to use this on the bike.
I took two readings, one at 3500rpm and one at 1500RPM.
with the following results. (Engine was just revving, no load)
3500RPM 1500RPM
11.2% 12.7% Oxygen
7.2% 6.1 CO2
9447 1235 PPM CO
>20000 3142 PPM uCO
Now I realise that under load these readings will differ (At least I think)
But I'm just a dumb lucktrician.
Is any one able to give knowledgeable advice / feedback on this info?
