Hey/Howzit/Hallo/Sawubona!
I'm Drew, and I'm studying in Jozi (Ruimsig/Roodepoort area) for the next 4-6 months. I have an F650GS back home and just about as soon as I got here knew that there's no way I'm gonna last all that time without riding - and I'm very keen to do some adventuring around (Drakensberg and Lesotho look like fantastic weekend trips).
Not sure yet whether to look around for bike hire places (they all seem very pricey at ~1000R a day, which is going to hurt the budget!) or try and find something on the cheap (considering anything from a Bajaj Boxer to a WR450 if I'm lucky).
Anyways, it sounds like if anyone knows what they're doing Adventure-riding-wise in this country it's you lot, so hello, and thanks for having me, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.
