I am interested in buying a Great Basin saddle bag for my 800 GS. I have done some looking around into luggage systems, and I have come to the conclusion that the Great Basin would suit my needs. I am pretty much set in buying one of these, but would like to hear what the 800 GS owners have to say.
I would like to know if there are any members out there with an 800 GS and stock exhaust that had one of these bags fitted. If so, did you have to do anything to stop it from touching the exhaust? Also, did you have to add a different mounting point to the right hand side to avoid the strap from chafing on the rear brake fluid reservoir?
