a While ago I needed a quick solution to move a bike short distances without moving it.  I've seen the piggyback type trailer on the web previously and then saw a local guy selling his version for R950.

Bargain I thought.

Picked it up and I noted I needed eyelets for the straps.

My 1st issue was that the strap bar, was way too narrow, causing the bike to weave side to side without even moving. I went around the block slowly and I just was not convinced.

I took it off and sent it to the engineers to have the bar strap mounting pole extended.

Trial ran the XR125L because its nice and light and it worked brilliantly.

The weight would also be similar to my motards, so there is no complaints there.

I then decided to load the daddy, the 950 and its clearly to heavy. It mounts and sits fine, but im just not comfortable running it on the back at all.

So I guess If you have a smaller type of bike, 250-650, the hitch will work pretty well. Only cons is that you need to take in consideration your parts wear (tires/chains) I also like to strap up the clutch, should the bike pop into gear for any reason.

Is it worth it? Yes if you need to move your Mx bike small distances to the track. Only changes that would need to be made is the mounting bar relocation and extension. (wider and lower for more stability)
