Where are you wanting to mount it? Are you asking how to find the ACC wires?

Some people will tell you that you need to remove the entire headlight unit to find the ACC1 and ACC2 wires, but you don't

If you loosen the TFT screen and fold it up all the way (may need to remove windsheild, I cant remember) then theres an access hole into the void behind the headlight where those wires are. Try fish em out through there.

From memory, ACC1 is permanent 12V, ACC2 is switched 12V but maybe confirm in the owners manual.

What RH said...

Didnt know about the shortcut, but not to sure if its a good idea, its not that much work to just sommer remove the headlight, (if you dont break the headlight angle adapter totter thingy)

Ya I was REALLY not keen on fiddling with the whole headlight. Flipping the screen up is pretty quick and apparently the factory leaves the wiring up at the top there for that very reason. But who knows after 5years of riding hahaha

Yup, been installing car sound since late 1980's

Have seen the crap that happens if you do shoddy work...

The KTM powerparts bit works really well. Easily adjust the angle while you're riding as well.

I was worried about added more weight to the front end and more stress to those little mounting points that break, but so far so good. I don;t ride a hell of a lot with the GPS on anyway.
