GS 1150 - Big scare

Damn almost klapped a big stress yesterday - well not almost actually did ..............

Wanted to fit some crash bars but unfortunately they did not fit. Offcourse have to move the tank to get to the bolts. This being the first time that I moved the tank, was very careful.

So when I wanted to ride - bike started but just just and was huffing and puffing, stalling and backfiring something awe full.

Took the tank off again and checked ...could not see anything loose or wrong.

Limped home last night and back to work this morning thinking I broke something major.

Got to Chris at Peter Marshall, explained what I did and the problem and whilst we talking he fidgets on the r/h side and says start. Start and all well and good again .....................huh?

Apparently the r/h throttle cable just pulled a bit and got caught on top of the guide, pushed it back in and sorted.

Phew......................... what a relief !!!!!!
