I serviced the bike this past weekend , including a filter change........warmed bike up till fan run...drained oil...changed filter......followed the manual...poured 2 lt of oil into the oil reservoir.......idled bike for 30 seconds...poured in the other 300 ml...ran bike till fan came on.
When I check the oil level on the dipstick...by just pushing the dipstick down until it touches it's surround ( not screwing it in ) I get a reading that shows the oil level is low......on the minimum mark.
Question is simple...according to spec I have the right amount of oil in ...in fact I had added an extra 100ml and still have a low reading on the dipstick using above method....and I know from past experience that overfilling will make a mess of the airbox :'(
So , who would like to take this fool out of his misery ???? Euthanasia is also an option :imaposer:
