Got this bar because it's going with the TT GPS brackets. Only thing is I want to fit the GPS on a different way so I don't need this cross bar. It's still new and unused

Here is the cross bar that BMW forgot! Now you have a place to mount your accessories. Touratech GPS mounts can be mounted here as well as a roadbook holder or any number of other gadgets you need during your next adventure.
290mm or approx. 11.5 inches is the overall length of the bar. Diameter is approx. 12mm. (Total length of the aluminum bar only not hole-to hole, and not counting the clamps) It was designed for the R1200GS but may fit other bars with similar dimensions.
Note: This crossbar will not fit if you have Touratech R1200GS Hand Guards ( 040-1530 ) installed.
* 040-0603 does not fit on '07 R1200GS - use the shorter 040-0604
