So my GSA reached 100 000 kms on Sunday. I wanted to write up a nice poem or something as it's a special occasion, but I'm too lazy for that.
I've had it since 32 000 kms and it's treated me well, especially seeing that I serviced it myself. The servicing has taught me a lot and I feel more confident about fixing a problem on the road side. Touch wood, it's only broken down once (at 82 000 kms) when the final drive bearing disintegrated. Luckily 10 kms from home.
It's taken me to a few places I would probably not do with a car. Most memorable trips were Baviaans and the bash at the Orange River. Baviaans for surviving the river crossings and Orange River for doing the R355 from bottom to top. Oh, and it's done a trip on the SAS Willehond as well.
