Ever since I got my new KLR650 about two months ago, it was giving me hassles starting and jerking on long rides. The problem was FINALLY resolved when Kawa replaced the carburetor.
No clear cut answer on what exactly the problem was, but I was told it was an 'inherent' problem.
Anyway, it is now starting quite easily and at long last I am thoroughly enjoying my bike!
