hi all,
DigiEye (dawg on this forum who recently hit 100 000 km on his Dakkie!!) made me an orange head light cover for the Dakkie for R100. He posted it to me (from Jhb to CT) for R25. It arrived in a protective envelope and a zip lock bag, with the little stick-on valcro dots to attach and looks DA BOMB!!  a very neat job indeed. I would recommend it to anyone. :thumleft:
When ordering, however, I forgot to mention that I forced a 'post face lift' head light into my 'pre face lift' headlight cover (after a 'light' incident early this year :'( ). The post face lift headlight has a slightly different outline (not so much of a problem) and a slightly sharper / more pointy lens. I'll have to bend the orange lens cover a bit.
How does one bend perspex? ???
I have heard of guys using blow-torches and others hair dryers. Any advice will be appreciated (anyone?).
