Hi all.
I stumbled upon this site a week or so ago, and must say that this is the place to be for anyone who owns a DS bike.
I currently live in a bigish small town with my wife and 18month old son, in central South Africa.
I have been riding a 200cc chinese takeaway scrambler for the past three years, and have UPgraded at the end of June to a 2008 F650 GS(twin). :ricky:
Swopping about 10bhp for 71bhp has left me breathless, to say the least.
I have been trying to put to words a comparisson between the two bikes. Up to now I have been unable to...
I am totaly in love with this bike! It is everything I need/want, and much more, for the time being at least.
At the moment parental responsibilities prevent me from getting the gravel time I crave, so I am stuck with about 80% commute, and the rest is time spent exploring gravel roads on weekends.
I already learnt a lot from you guys, and hope to keep on learning! :thumleft:
