Planning to do a trip down the West Coast at the end of April and will really appreciate advice on the following:
1. Luderitz to Oranjemund
Is it possible to do this on a bike (R1200GSA)? If so, how do you get hold of the permit that is required?
Otherwise, is the route from Luderitz to Aus > Rosh Pinah > Sendelingsdrif > Noordoewer > Vioolsdrif a better (and safer) option?
2. Port Nolloth/Springbok to Cape Town
There are several ride reports on this, and I am still going through all of them, but in the meantime here's the big question: If you had 4 days, what route would you take and where would you stop? What are the BEST places on the West Coast?
