I've been a biker most of my life, but a "teerpad moffie" most of the time (not judging anyone, roadbikes are still great)
About 2 years ago I started doing photography for tourists doing guided tours on rented bikes, into Namibia etc.
(I am a professional photographer) Eventually the bug bit me and about a year ago I bought my BMW GS800.
Already 20,000km on the clock, loving it!
On these guided tours and personal travels, I've been in most conditions (except for deep mud) on all of the GS bikes and personally the GS800 is by far the best all rounder. Replacing the std front springs with Ohlins was the only performance change I made to the bike.
