After hearing some horror stories of front wheels that stopped turning due to accumulation of mud underneath the fender I decided to fit a Super Enduro front fender and fork protectors.
All was going well until it became time to fit them to the 990
On the 990 the brake lines are already split so in theory you only have to remove the stock fender and bolt on the SE front fender and fork protectors.
The problem is that the fork protectors doesn't fit at all. The bolt holes does not match up :BangHead:
There is the option to buy a Hight=rise fender kit at R3000 which supposedly allows the protectors to be fitted with some sort of bracket (I have not seen them). But R3000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The "kit" also includes brake hoses etc - all unnecessary!
Has anybody fitted a high Fender and fork protectors to the 990 ???
