Details:
It's a once off.
I need one extra bike for returning very good & reliable customers. Else I would not do it.
The customers are photographers doing event photography for the Cape Epic. They had Le Cap bikes for the last four years. They look after the bikes, no hooligans, no stunts. Remember they ride around with some not exactly cheap cameras.
They use the bikes one up to get to the photography spots NOT camera man on the back filming "TdF" stuff. Thus no "battleships" required nor suitable.
Basic requirements:
Dirt capable DS bike like KLR650, DR650, XT600, XT660, XCh. Lightweioght gets preference. Even smaller bikes (like DRZ or Djebel 250XC) are considered as the Epic this year starts in Tulbagh and they will have to cover little distance on tar.
Roadworthy, licensed and in good & reliable technical condition is not negotiable. Good condition tires!
The bike does NOT have to be new or in spotless condition. Fair wear & tear is fine.
No noisy performance exhaust!!! Else you can give me your KTM too :evil6:
I expect them to do no more than 2000km (Cape Town - Tulbagh - follow the Epic & access photo points to Lourensford - Cape Town). Most likely less.
Bike needed from March 25 until April 3 (10 days).
(You will have to bring the bike to me the previous day)
I pay you up to R4500 (for a 600cc class & DRZ slightly less for a smaller bike) for 10 days incl. a max of 2000km. R1 per km extra if they should do more.
I cover the first R 10,000 of any damages should they occur. Over and above that it's your risk unless you can arange with your insurance (I can provide riders details).
Please feel free to contact me to discuss details.
PM or e-mail or phone.
