Should be getting my Xr650L in a week or two and I'm trying my best to convince a mate or two to get a bike aswell. One guy has an old XL500 that he's busy building up but it may take a while.
So, as I'm a new rider, I will be looking to get my toes wet and do a trail or two. Iwas wondering if there were any guys willing to add a total newbie to their group and show me the ropes a little.
I have ridden road bikes for a number of years and I've played around on an MX bike a little ( a real little ). So basically I'm very new to the scene.
I won't be able to hit the dirt immediately, I still need to get some off road tyres and some kit, which will have to wait until next month or my wife will murder me!
I'm 42 yrs old, so not a youngster but not quite a fossil
In the Edenvale area and I don't have access to a trailer but I'm happy to contribute toward expenses ( if we load up a bakkie or trailer).
I would like to take on something easy to moderate of course.
My bike is Stock standard at the moment but that will need to change.
Um Ya not much else to add.
Thanks
