I am selling this Africa Twin project bike as I have no more time to work on it anymore.
1998 Model, papers and license up to date
I have done quite a lot so far. USD front suspension completed, springs etc all done. The tank side covers and tail piece has all been prepped for paint. The front rally fairing still needs to be finished for paint, Tower brackets are there also. I have bought a acewell digital clock for the bike.
Crash bars and belly pan has been powdercoated matt black and the seat has been recovered. Has a Bosson Pipe, Facet Fuel pump. Hand guards with back and white covers
This was a running bike until about a year ago. Engine was starting to make a noise so we stripped it (Found a fine copper shimmer in the oil). Main bearings were on their way out. Crank still measures within spec, so the motor will need to be rebuilt. Sleeves, piston and rings are still in excellent condition.
Everything, I mean everything is there. every bolt and nut. What will be needed beside the motor rebuild are mirrors, indicators. Will also need a oversized front brake disk.
