The reason for this post is because I suspect there are other owners that also put very little miles on these bikes..
Let me remind you to have the throttle bodies synchronized every few years and also the valves set..
I have put on only a few kilos during the last few years, and noticed that a "rough" vibration at cruising speed on two recent longer trips. Top end was also a bit more sluggish than what I could recall.
Bike has <25k km on and only annual services done since about 2016/7, every year since.
Last week Monday BMW in Stellenbosch did valves and throttle bodies.
I got back a completely transformed bike. Less vibrations at cruising speed (+/-140km/hr) and extremely responsive!
I fell in "love" all over again!
F..K - these bikes are fast and responsive!
Do yourself a favor and have these T/Bodies checked!
