It's been 4 1/2 years since I unfortunately sold my 990 when we moved from Cape town to the Netherlands.
It is time to get another bike (my wife doesn't know yet). I really miss the 990, and everything I look at now I compare to that. I would like the 1290, but they are just to expensive. I will use the bike for daily commuting as well (also in the winter). To be fair, I will most probably never ride dirt with it here either.
I really don't want to spend more than €10k, so that kind of limits my options. I want something which is as much fun as the 990, but don't know what that bike would be. So far I've looked(on paper) at the 800 Tiger, maybe the Africa twin and maybe the DL 650 vstrom (I had the older version before and it wasn't too bad)
I don't want a BMW as they are to expensive here.
Any ideas or suggestions?
