Thanks for the great ride chaps, and the DongaHonda400 had a real ball. I was quite enjoying the slogging sweeping with the "survivors" with Kevin, made the trip all the more memorable. I've got some pics ready, catch ya later.

Thanks Fred for your help you really do have a will to keep standing and not to put your feet down on those tricky section
quite impressive keep it up.

Right, so here are more pictures from me, I will try show other shots and scenes to those already shown.

Descending down the Impedle Nature reserve route.

All good... so far...at the first grouping since Impendle at the bottom of the Impendle Nature Reserve valley

The first rough section deserves a well earned break in the shade!

Refreshments all round.... jon cracking a cold one early in the day!

P1000081.jpg

and so the descent begins into the "technical"

P1000085.jpg

P1000087.jpg

P1000089.jpg

and so they gathered in the heat of the day in the valley... swopping stories and cooling off

P1000090.jpg

watched by the local youth who were being entertained, surely, by these mlungus doing strange things

P1000093.jpg

mud, mud, glorious mud..... so the rear end crew battled

P1000095.jpg

and watched tiredly

P1000099.jpg

the survival continued

P1000100.jpg

with Kevin sweeping the rear

P1000102.jpg

with battered bikes and battered bodies, the survival crew rested with souls intact!

P1000107.jpg

And Trevor came back to lend a hand, Bushcat lifting his dropped bike after the umpteenth time

P1000109.jpg

YEAH! we're through, Kevin being the last to cross the bridge

P1000110.jpg

Regroup and refresh

P1000111.jpg

Bushcat revived.....just

P1000112.jpg

The store revisited... that's more sensible Jon! Grab a beer at Crossways instead!

P1000113.jpg

Over the hills past the Umgeni source, beating a retreat from the storms

Nice shots there Fred, good to have you along on the ride.

In hindsight that Black Label at the shebeen wasn't too clever with that rocky section still to come

Hey Kev, I gotta learn somehow! with guts or stupidity! thanks for the encouragement! Any time you need a hand with the broom, give me a shout, you did a sterling job "out there"

Yeah Jon, great to join you, looking forward to the next one!

Ja, Kevin, I'm using using Photo*uckit... had a frustrating day with it, but worked it out eventually.

Thanks for the great pics. January Jonw the few sips I took from that bottle was great but did not help room smooth the road. I am missing the ride and company already. Next one please.

Still more videos to come, I hope to post some You Tube clips tonight!!

Two weeks on I am fascinated to know how many of the tail end Charlies have had to go into overdraft to repair their KTM and BMW motorcycles after Jon's Impendle technical road?

I am getting more and more respect for the Honda.
Going on leave so taking the KTM for the easy stuff down in Mosselbay.

Not to much damage done Ian. Couple of broken indicators but I wanted to change them anyway so now is a good reason. Spots also broken but them as well will be replaced.Other than that the body was worse for wear. Will be back on the road again soon once the water pump is repaired but that wasn't on JonW ride it had a so leak now its time to repair. :ricky:

Nice ride there guys, sorry I missed it, well maybe not when you see some of the bikes lying down, I probably would have joined them.
