Internal speakers for an Arai X3?

Can anyone advise if it is possible to fit speakers into a Arai X3 helmet? I just cannot find earphones that work with this helmet, I keep pulling the wires out the earphone when I put my helmet on or when I take it off or when I do actually get the helmet on after a 1/2 hour my ears are so sore I have to stop and remove them. Any suggestions?
