Grey Hound
Yes! we had serious fun with smal rubber duck with 25hp, steered at motor.Big E, we rented a boat on the Keurbooms this last December. Even at a grand a day it still felt reasonable (divided by two families).
Secondly a lot of the river is a no-wake zone so you can’t be vootering around. Personal opinion, unless you intend to waterski, a boat with a 90hp engine is a waste of time. I reckon a duck with a 40/50 hp engine on the back is more than adequate.
I remember my party trick....with tjommies on boat...
you go flat taps, close throttle (nose digs in) turn fully...
basically the rear gets thrown around the dug in front and you end up facing the opposite way, if you did not manage to throw some people overboard, you gun it again!
magtig, ek sal darm my eie lightie se gat velle af trek as hy dit met my boot sou doen! (wat ek nie het nie)
