If you enjoy dirt-road touring, KLRs and working on your own bike this is what you’ve been waiting for.
Clean and neat and all-original - only the idler or balancer shaft lever (doohickey), rear raising links, stronger rear brake bracket, and taller screen have been modified.
Recently serviced: new sprockets and chain, brake pads and discs, grips, sealed battery, tyres, plug, oil, oil filter, air filter cleaned, carb cleaned, fuel filter cleaned
Perfect working order, licensed and currently used as a daily commuter…starts first time....pick up and ride away!
I’m the second-owner since 2008. I’ve serviced the bike myself every 5000km and carefully maintained and repaired it. Enjoyed many great trips, including to Namibia, Botswana, Cape Town, Durban and the 'berg several times. Perfect dirt road touring bike for great holiday and weekend trips.
Fallen many times and the usual minor dings, but this bike barely notices.
Big Givi topbox that fits jacket and helmet – very useful!
Spare keys, original owner’s manual and tools.
