While going through this spring in the Tankwa my KLR died on me, after 3 attempts I got her started again. Stopped for lunch at the the Padstal and rode back to Cape Town (about 200kms) without a problem.
After standing for a week the bike starts but misses and back fires a bit with the choke on, once warm sort of idles OK but if I open the throttle it dies.
I have checked and cleaned the carb (it was clean), cleaned air filter and changed the plug.
Any suggestions, perhaps the coil?
