Hi All
I replaced the rear break shoes on the KLR last night to find the old ones had worn very skew and one side more than the other. As shown in the picture below.
The difference in thickness is ±1mm which over such a short distance means it's plensch skew.
The difference in wear is also over 1.5mm
Before I start bending things or adding spacers I thought I'd check with you okes. eepwall:
Is this a normal problem?
Is there some obvious problem with the brackets fitting on the wheel?
What do you suggest to fix these problems?
