Has anyone else tried this?
Here is a stock KLR silencer that has had the small perforated tube removed.
The result is that the outlet is opened up to 40mm from about 25mm
There is a slight increase in noise but nowhere as loud as a Penta, it does not feel as if there is much difference in power going through the gears but it does get 170 top speed on the speedometer now.
