I mounted a cycle computer to the KLR this pm. I measured the circumference which worked out to 2195mm (can someone else measure theirs and confirm please - I realise tyre tread and pressure will affect it). I had to mount it close to the bottom of the fork to get the magnet close enough to the sensor. I guess that's fine?
At 60kph indicated the computer shows 55kph. At 80kph it shows 73kph. I'll test it at higher speeds later. So 10% overread it seems.
