I’m toying with the idea of getting a small bike again. Bike to be used for challenging adv rides as well as the odd funduro and maybe even a few weekend warrior green routes at local enduros The sort of stuff that my 990/890 cannot do (at least with me as the pilot).
The obvious choice is the 500. Well documented on here and elsewhere. I had a Husky 501 in the past so I have a very good understanding of these bikes
My question is - why not a 350? In the rest of the world the 350 seems to be at least just as popular for this application. 500 obviously makes more sense if you need to do a lot of tar or open dirt mileage. The 350 would make more sense in the tech stuff. Second hand prices are a lot lower than 500 and they seem to be readily available.
Opinions?
