Anyone got some advice / ideas for me?
I fitted an Facet pump to my KTM 950 Adv - the 40105, not the 40171 (could'nt find one)
Now my bike won't start in the mornings
The starter wants to turn the crank, but gives up & makes a whirring sound
I get the feeling that the bike is flooded
I have been turning the fuel off tap just above the bash plate on the left, but this doesn't prevent the problem from recurring
I can only start the bike by jumping it from my 4x4
The extra battery power is enough to turn the crank over & after a few seconds (>10 sec) the motor splutters into life & the bike runs like a bomb
My tech know-how is depleted (also after about 10 sec)
Any help would be appreciated
PS: Anyone know where to get a Facet 40171 in Cape Town?
Should I recon my old Mitsubishi pump?
Who can do the FET job for me?
