KTM Spares availibility

There is a reason for my question ...Currently a Dakar rider...

My question: Is KTM spares availibility in Cape Town area an issue? Spoke to a guy in the Karoo recently that was waiting many weeks for a rear chain sprocket. (Not sure 950 or 990)
