So my pony is at rad for the 37500 service and what I suspect is a leaking water pump shaft seal. I have a warranty policy with Motorite (with an R11000 "water pump failure" benefit) who I am hoping will pay for the water pump story. Yes I can do it myself but I'd rather not, plus it would void the warranty...
The lovely Michelle in the workshop has warned me that this issue is usually categorised at normal wear & tear and wouldn't be covered under a warranty claim, but they're going to try anyway.
If they reject it I'm going to throw my toys. Am I being unreasonable in thinking that such a fundamental failure after 37000km is not normal wear & tear?
