Learners / Border crossing SA Botswana Namibia?

Hi Guys,

I am planning a short 2 week trip from PTA - North of Botswana (Vic falls) - through Caprivi down Walvisbay back to SA, and need some help on some issues that no one seems to know the answer to..

1) I have a valid motorcycle learners, will I be allowed into the countries? Is it legal to ride in Botswana and Namibia with only a learners? (I have a car license)
        -  I mailed the embassy and they responded by saying: If someone is seated next to you with a license it should be fine (they don't get the bike part!)
2) Will I be allowed from Botswana into Namibia with the learners?

I am insured with the learners so that is sorted. All other papers in order, and learners valid long after I get back.

Does Lesotho or Swaziland allow one to enter with only a learners?
