Leatt quality, what is your experience?

So I am in the market for a number of items, and most will be three sets, wife, daughter and myself, and a number of items Leatt produce.

Research has led to these comments on another forum, all about Leatt quality issues recently.

Since I only have a 2011 or so neck brace which is solid I thought it wise to ask around a bit more.

Just a pity they get it made in China!! Got the new 5.5 brace and it falls apart.
Got the new 5.5 chest protector, and it falls apart.
Got the 3DF elbow guards, and they can't keep the sizes the same
Shall I carry on?? The concept is spot on!
Scared to try the braces

Same problem here, got my wife the chest protector, about all the screws came lose during the first ride, so now she has a brand Leatt new chest protector held in place with the best fixings ever...zipties !!!
