When / if you guys go shopping for your gear, what are you looking for in a shop? What brands do you prefer?

Would you prefer a shop with a coffee bar & tv showing biking dvd's or just a plain shop with no frills?

Would you go to a BMW shop if you ride a KTM, or to a Yammie shop if you ride a Honda? Or would you prefer a non bike brand shop, that caters for bikers?
