Part 2 of 3 for day 1 all the way to the 1st river crossing

Day 1 in Limpopo turned out to be an awesome one. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the ride and it was fantastic to share all of this with both my brothers. A delicious meal awaited us at Oppie Oewer and our tired bodies enjoyed a few healthy drinks before heading off to bed. How could life possibly get any better? Well, I know I'm not alone when I say that the next day's riding was possibly my most memorable day ever on a motorbike.

After an early breakfast at Oppie Oewer, we headed out to Ofcalaco to fill up on fuel before we headed to Lekgalameetse. Andreas was kind enough to bring his KTM 300 along for [member=24549]MonkeyNot[/member] to use as the 1200 GS would not be suitable for today's route. The first 60km was on tar, but the beautiful surroundings made up for that.

Our painful bodies...but smiling faces...were testimony of an incredible experience! :thumleft:

Last video of the 1st day.
Awesome riding next to the KNP fence. Spotted a Brown Hyena but unfortunately did not get him on video.
Spotted a lot of elephants tracks and dung on our side of the fence

We paid our R75 entrance fee at the gate and made our way to the waterfall not far down the tar road.
