So got together with Malcom DR800 and Philp Symons  640 (brother of the late Elmer Symons last year in Dakar)
Philp just got back from Dakar on saterday morning .He went there to mechanic for a Canadian Team called Destination Dakar and with hopes to do it next year,but didnt work out.
We left the berg at 530 headed out

Still not sure if this is the right bike for me

Bike heard that and so by the time we got to Weenen i had a punture

Could nt get any patches untill 10 but managed to get Slime from a local which held out for the whole day

This pic was taken going though the conservancy There was a donkey living with these  zebra s but its not in pic

Though to Colenso and i had to fill up I dont ever think i got 10 km/l today

Ye he s also got an 625 sxc .I told him to take the FCR carb off the sxc and put it on the 640 adv

Its to big when you are riding with Xr and dr and 640 s
It dont stop for the corners

The white looks the business I would just replace those orange adventure stickers with white/grey ones.
