Hi Guys,
Last year with my accident, I broke the magnesium alloy top-box bracket right in two on my 1150 GS Adventure.
I either need to replace it with a used one, or get someone to weld it together (as well as add some reinforcing flanges for stability and strength).
Do anyone of you know (in Gauteng) where I can get :
a) someone to do the specialised magnesium welding/brazing without the whole thing going up in flames :angry4: (as magnesium somehow tends to do) or having the metal losing it's integrity and strength;
or
b) a second-hand, reasonably-priced replacement part.
