It seems that my Garmin quest power cable have died.  It is the Touratech one.
A new one costs around $60 (not sure if you can still get them in SA).

Can I make one? (or can some-one help me make one  ;D)
I know the cable has voltage reducer 12vDc -> 5vDc.

Would I be able to make one, or should I just try and buy. I have the BMW plug for the one side, and I am pretty sure the connection for the GPS is still ok.
The problem is just the voltage reducer.
