I have a set of Excel rims for the 1190 in the post and was wondering if I can make it tubeless. Is this a good or bad idea? Will tubeless tyres even work on those rims? will it bead properly and still allow me to ride sand at 1 bar?
Sealing the spokes:
Can this be done with some silicone and then some kind of tape stuck over it? Ductape?
I see someone paints it as well with something after fitting the tape. What will that be?
Valve, what do you do here? How do you seal it? Can I maybe drill the hole bigger and again fit my old tyre pressure monitoring valve?
