Well it was an early start for myself and Lootch heading away from Essex around 7:50 Sunday morning. Could feel the winter is rapidly aproaching and did at one point wonder if it's worth while getting out of my warm bed.
We stopped about 30 miles away from Amesbury with numb bum taking it's toll.
After a quick cup of coffee we headed off to the plains and an early water start awaited us, Lootch coming through
Our very own site owner heading for deep blue
little did we know this was the shallow pools as the next lot we got totally submerged and the first time I though my AT's gonna change into a submarine
A quick break to stretch and get some fluids in
Hey you lookin at my bike punk
This was one very clean bike untill after this play day :?
Practising my over shoulder pic shots
Now that's a warning I like 8)
No fellas that's not a small AT it's just a very tall bloke
Miles and miles of gravel, this is the 3rd time I went to the plains and every time I ride new roads!
At least I was easily spotted from the crowd
Another smoke break and some sarnies consumed
I can see a big cleaning session coming up again
And as much bush/mud and forrest you can dream off
This was shortly after I came off in a very small unsuspecting road, alot of warning signs and we missed the ones which said out of bounds untill the ranger told us £30 fine or make your way out of here
Final stop before we headed back home after a very good day out on the gravel.
Couple of parting shots with the plains..
Thanks guys hope we can make another day of it soon even with winter aproaching!
