I am sure this info should be shared on the forum. Most of the insurance companies no longer cover riders on bikes greater than 200cc as from 1 July 2012. My medical aid took 2 weeks to let me know this - just one day before I leave for Mozambique/Pemba!!!! After much searching I found Bupa insurance. tel number 011 268 0211. Their cover is complete. Cost me R900 for 14 day cover and done within hours of applying. This was the final bit of planning outstanding for my trip to Pemba tomorrow. 8)
