Had at least one other owner in between as well. I was there in Jan 2018 and had a lekker kuier with Chris, there were different owners when I was there in 2019

I heard chris was looking at options in namibia at some point but also heard he could not get shot of the hotel.

Memel at one point was going to be a huge eco area, unfortunately did not materialise.

Memel at one point was going to be a huge eco area, unfortunately did not materialise.

Yes we had a chat with him when we were there in November. Hotel was already sold, but he was still living there until the Namibia thing materialised.
New owners got the property at les than 2/3 of the asking price I believe, but it has been terribly neglected and will take a bit of work and money to get it in good shape.
