I recently purchased a Montana 600 and then went online to purchase the Southern Africa maps.
It wants to do a system update before I can download the map, however the update always gets stuck on 56%. I have tried this on 3 different computers and the same thing.
I emailed Garmin support and they just say send the unit back to them as it is faulty, I am not convinced as surely the download would get to 100% and then fail with an error.
Could it be a problem with the update file?
Everything else works fine with the gps and I even loaded Tracks4Africa with no problems.
Any ideas experts?
