ATTENTION: Pretoria and Joburg riders
I have organised an Overnighter at Montlemetse River Ranch....................GPS Long and Lat (S25° 15.262' E28° 28.112')
in the Rustdewinter Dam conservancy on the 4th of June 2016.
There is place for up to 18 riders/attendees.
Low to medium technical abilities necessary.
60 - 70% dirt........Must be able to handle a decent pace on dirt - 90 to 120km/h
Male and female riders or pillions welcome!
We are planning to have a decent party..............if you are a sour puss.........rather stay at home

BMW's - 650's if you have to 8) 800's and 1200's (even with a 19 inch front wheel)

KTM's all models and sizes from 640's upwards

The route will start in Pretoria at the Engen c/o Lynnwood east and Solomon Mahlangu at 07:00 sharp through Rayton and Ekandustria North of Verena following north of the Loskopdam conservancy to Ruby River Resort for breakfast/brunch. ETA around 10am. +-220km
- Blue route
Depart Ruby River latest 12pm via Groblersdal and Wolwekraal to the south of Renosterkop dam.
If time allows we will include Lood se pad to the R567
ETA @ Montlemetse River Ranch between 3:30 and 5 +-180km - Green route
400km for the day
Montlemetse has wooden bungalows sleeping 10 in comfortable clean beds.
all sharing with very clean communal amenities and hot showers
(you will die of cold in a frikken tent)
Just bring a towel and your toiletries
A full kitchen with fridges, braai facilities and undercover kuier facility for the evening available.
R500 for the evening will buy you:
A bed,
A decent meal (Steak and a boerie or half a chicken with pap & sous) You braai it yourself!............Maybe a salad for those who are not having chicken :imaposer:
Fire, wood and ice :biggrin:
Booze of your choice (within limits) up to a value of R150 ( 750 ml brandy and 2l coke, or 750ml whipsky or 12 beers) :ricky:
Next morning babbie coffee and rusks
Also available are 2 x 4 sleeper chalets (8 people) with full amenities at a surcharge of R100 p/p
Sunday after - brekkie and a draft available at Zappas Restaurant on Rosseau str off ramp on the N4 for 50 bucks.
For a coupla laughs, discussions and possible planning of another lekke trip :thumleft:
NOTE TO SELF AND OTHERS: A strict second gear limit to be maintained on the access road to the lodge. No hooliganism, revving of bikes, spin competitions, discharging of fire arms or burn outs will be tolerated. It is a nature conservancy and there are Crocs and Hippo's as well as other game roaming free in the conservancy.
