So a mate and I are heading from JHB to Mpumalanga this weekend for some Adv Riding and I notice its the Mpumalanga 400 - based in Dullstroom. Many years ago we both martialed two Toyota Desert Races and had a ball. We always talked about following an offroad rally on bikes -he best way!! We did eventually follow the Dakar in Peru in 2013 and that was bucket list stuff.
The organizers are saying no spectators so there are no maps for viewing points unfortunately. Has anyone here followed this event before on their bikes and can provide advice on whether it is even worth pursuing? I know accommodation around Dullstroom will be impossible.
