50,000 clicks and it's been in the workshop for most of the past 9 months.
overheating took 3 months to solve - fitted new fan motor, new thermostat and recently the dashboard thermocouple. clutch packed in 2 weeks ago. steering head bearings packed in on the rallye raid. rear brake light switch broke. now it won't start - nothing. battery packed in yesterday. indicator electrics problematic. oil leak is developing who knows where from. and the list goes on.
funnily enough, I went to the stadium to buy tri-nations tickets on saturday, and just before leaving home, i decided to go back and fetch my cellphone just in case my bike broke down again. :eek7:
it did. right outside the stadium. lucky god reminded me to bring the phone.
I am thinking of selling the piece of shite and pimping my XL500S.
At least it's reliable.
