OK, let me come clean. This is in fact a later model DR800 and not my 750. I'm, for now, the custodian of the bike with the choice to buy it. Time will tell. My 750 will one day still get its re-build.
Got the bike last night and rode it to work this morning. Needs a good tune-up, but pulls like a freight train. Overall its good but needs attention to detail here and there, like twisted front suspension, MOER of a noisy exhaust, etc.
Not as smooth though and vibrationless as my 750. When I got my 750, and did some reading, the general feeling I got was that the 750 was preferred over the 800.
