Hi Guys
I can get a "lift" with my son Jomar next weekend (03/09) - they're a bunch of tjommies going to Ballito. Jomar can load the XT, and drop me off somewhere along the N3 , and the old ballie rides back home (Bethlehem) over 2/3/4 days.
Yes I know I'm "kroeking" a bit here, but also saving a day's riding down, so more riding in that area for me
What routes would you say would be nice??
I'm looking at gravel, NO highways, and camping where and when I feel like it.
Would like to include the following in my route.......apart from that, I'll just go with the flow (riding solo):
1) That Himeville - Loteni - Notties road looks and sound nice
2) That old railway tunnels pass thingie at Van Reenen
Jomar can basically drop me off ANYWHERE along the N3..........say, Howinck/Maritzburg/etc etc, but I dont want to ride ONE kilometre on a highway. I'm basically thinking getting off at/near Notties, and doing that Himeville via Loteni thing first, and then ride all along the Berg (Lesotho on my left) up north.
