So it has finally happened. My Nav VI started ghosting (registering touch on the screen without it being touched).
I purchased it used a while ago so no warranty. I have been in contact with Garmin but I have heard they might not repair. They are unable to give me an estimate of the screen replacement.
Before I send it away to Garmin, is there anyone on the forum that had this fixed locally (preferably in the Cape)? Or at least know where I can get a replacement screen?
My options are as follows right now:
Buy a screen from Ebay and DIY replace or, sending it off to Garmin where they will probably make me pay shipping both ways just to tell me they can't repair it.
